Meet Our Orthodontic Team
Susana Solis
Susana helps make the practice fun and welcoming! As a dental assistant, she sits by the chair of the patient, assisting Dr. Kawakami. She appreciates that Dr. Kawakami is fun, yet professional. If she had time, Susana would sit and chat all day with patients, she truly enjoys connecting with so many wonderful people! She makes everyone feel at ease, and always has a smile on her face.
Away from the office, Susana spends all her time with her husband and three children. They love to go shopping, dancing, and going out to eat!
Maria Flores
Maria is Dr. Kawakami's dental assistant, and she loves making connections with patients of all ages! While assisting the doctor, she enjoys chatting with children about their last camping trip, or hearing the latest news about a patient's grandchildren. She enjoys working with Dr. Kawakami because she's so down to earth, while also producing great results.
When Maria isn't in the office, she's usually window shopping or working out. To counter all that exercise, she also loves to go out to eat!
Vicki Mabbitt
Vicki is our office manager, taking care of patients’ insurance, financial plans, and scheduling. She is the first smiling face to greet our patients when they walk into the office! Vicki loves meeting new people and welcoming them into our practice, as well as catching up with current patients, whether it is about school, work, or family.
Vicki has been married to her high school sweetheart, Marvin, for 34 years! They have two grown children, Kristen and Matt, a son-in-law, Bret, and two grandchildren, Liam and Maya. When she’s not in the office, Vicki enjoys reading, going to antique swap meets, and spending time with her wonderful family.
